French & Italian Riviera Sample Itinerary

Monaco to St. Laurent du Var, 14 Days

This itinerary is for a 12 day cruise of the French and Italian Riviera assumes guests will arrive and depart either by private or commercial aircraft at the Nice airport.

Day 1 - The guests arrive at the yacht dockside in Monaco. Transportation from Nice airport can be via Monaco Helicopters or ground transportation from Nice airport. Yacht remains in Monaco for the afternoon and evening, guests taking in the sights of town and the Casinos.

Day 2 - Approx. 7.5 hour cruise to Portofino. Depart Monaco during the late evening or early morning hours. Breakfast or lunch in Portofino and spend the afternoon and evening exploring this beautiful port town. Remain here overnight (either anchored or at port).

Day 3 - Remain in the Portofino area and visit the neighboring towns of Santa Margherita and Rapallo with watersports in the bay. Depart Portofino at 11pm for an overnight cruise to St. Tropez



Day 4 - Arrive St. Tropez approx. 10am. Anchor off Pampelonne Beach for the day. Anchor in Golfe de St. Tropez for the night. Guests taken ashore by tender to enjoy the sights of St. Tropez at night.

Day 5 - Return to Pampelonne Beach for the day, St. Tropez for the evening.

Day 6 - Depart St. Tropez at 8am, arrive Rade d'Agay at 9:30am. This historic bay is usually protected from weather with many small coves and beaches and a town lined with cafes and restaurants ashore. Great water sports and swimming area. Anchored overnight.

Day 7 - Depart Rade d'Agay at 8am, approx 1 hour cruise to the Iles de Lerins, the small islands just off shore from Cannes. These islands have a fascinating history and interesting cafes and restaurants ashore. Great water sports and swimming area. Remain anchored here overnight.

Day 8 -Relocate to Cannes Marina for easy access to this famous resort town. We can also use the yachts' tenders for water sports and swimming area. Remain anchored here overnight.

Day 9 - Depart Cannes at 8am, arrive Antibes at 9am. Explore the interesting open-air market and waterfront in Antibes. Comfortable ground transportation arranged for a trip to the glass factories in Biot, return to the yacht in Antibes for the evening. Dinner aboard or ashore.

Day 10 - Depart Antibes at 8am for a short cruise to St. Jean cap Ferrat. Anchor for the day, and ground transportation arranged for those who would like to visit the medieval walled town of St. Paul de Vence. Lunch in St. Paul or aboard.

Days 11 - Relocate to Villefranche Bay for the day. Water sports and trips ashore as desired. Lunch at the coastal mountain top walled city of Eze would be an excellent option for those who enjoy a unique experience.

Days 12 - Relocate to St. Laurent du Var for its close proximity to Nice airport. This will minimize transportation time to the airport.
